Bolt’s heavyweight sweatshirts are made in their own unique 500gsm Tomlinson Loop weave cotton fabric, as they were in the 1950’s. The sweatshirts have an athletic fit with thick ribbed hem and cuffs that hold the sweatshirt in place underneath a jacket. The style is reminiscent of the classic race sweaters of the 1940’s.
The chest features an heavy embroidered logo that we originally created using letterpress print. The garment was dip dyed to create a uniform colour across all elements, they then added a double enzyme wash to break down the cotton for a soft slubby feel and to give the dye a natural fade, for the worn in look.

We measure each item by hand and we refer to the “actual” measured size rather than the “tag” size.
