1960's Noblesville Hand Drawn Senior Cords
Vintage Senior Cords are highly customized, hand-painted beige or yellow corduroy pants and skirts, primarily worn by Indiana high school seniors from the 1920's through the 1970's.
Originating at Purdue University around 1904, these garments feature personal doodles, signatures, and symbols representing school, hobbies, and achievements. The tradition started with Purdue University engineers in the early 1900's before spreading to Indiana high schools in the 1920's and 30's.
